केहि समय अघिसम्म वाणिज्य बैंकहरुमा खुद नाफामा नम्बर १ बन्ने प्रतिस्पर्धा चल्थ्यो। नबिल बैंक, ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंक, राष्ट्रिय वाणिज्य बैंक, एनआइसी एशिया बैंक, इन्भेष्टमेन्ट बैंक लगायतको प्रतिस्पर्धा पहिलो स्थानको लागि नै रहन्थ्यो। कहिले ग्लोबल सबैभन्दा बढी नाफा कमाउने बैंक बन्थ्यो भने केहिले राष्ट्रिय वाणिज्य बैंक।

तर अहिले भने नबिल बैंक अन्य बैंकले टक्कर दिन नसक्ने स्थानमा देखिएको छ। किनभने ८ महिनासम्म नै नबिल बैंकले अन्य बैंकको तुलनामा सवा अर्ब बढी नाफा कमाइसकेको छ। यसले गर्दा अब अन्य बैंकलाई नबिलभन्दा अघि जान कठिन हुने देखिन्छ।

दोस्रो स्थानमा रहेको ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंकको नाफा नबिल बैंककोभन्दा सवा अर्बभन्दा धेरैले कम छ। नबिल बैंकले फागुनसम्ममा ४ अर्ब ७२ करोड रुपैयाँ कमाउदा ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंकले ३ अर्ब ४३ करोड रुपैयाँ मात्रै नाफा कमाएको छ। यसले गर्दा चालु आर्थिक वर्षमा नबिल बैंकले पहिलो र ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंकले दोस्रो स्थान सुरक्षित जस्तै देखिन्छ।

यी बाहेकमा अन्य केहि मध्यमस्तरका बैंकहरुमा भने चर्को प्रतिस्पर्धा देखिएको छ। राष्ट्रिय वाणिज्य बैंक, नेपाल इन्भेष्टमेन्ट मेगा बैंक, एनआइसी एशिया बैंकबीच तेस्रो स्थानको लागि नै चर्को प्रतिस्पर्धा छ। यसबाहेक एभरेष्ट र स्ट्यान्डर्ड चार्टर्ड बैंकको पनि २ अर्बभन्दा बढी नाफा रहेकोले यी बैंक पनि तेस्रो स्थानको लागि नै दाबेदार हुन सक्छन्।

यसबाहेकका अन्य बैंकको भने नाफा २ अर्ब तल छ। तर ती बैंकहरुमा पनि नाफामा ठूलो फरक भने छैन।

फागुनसम्मको तथ्याँक हेर्दा प्राइम कमर्शियल बैंक तेस्रो स्थानमा छ। उसले कुल २ अर्ब ८८ करोड रुपैयाँ नाफा कमाएको छ। प्राइम बैंकले बिग मर्जर विना नै बिग मर्जर गर्ने बैंकहरुलाई टक्कर दिन थालेको छ। यस्तै सरकारी स्वामित्वको राष्ट्रिय वाणिज्य बैंकले २ अर्ब ८७ करोड नाफा कमाएको छ। कुनै समय पहिलो स्थानको लागि प्रतिस्पर्धी हुने राष्ट्रिय वाणिज्य बैंक अन्य बैंकको मर्जरले गर्दा केहि पछाडि पर्न थालेको छ। यस्तै नेपाल इन्भेष्टमेन्ट बैंकको नाफा २ अर्ब ८० करोड रुपैयाँ छ। यी तीन बैंकमा तिब्र प्रतिस्पर्धा छ।

यस्तै एनआइसी एशिया बैंको नाफा २ अर्ब ५४ करोड छ। केहि समय अघिसम्म पहिलो स्थानकै लागि प्रतिस्पर्धी देखिने एनआइसी एशिया बैंक पनि अहिले केहि पछि पर्न थालेको छ। अब एनआइसीको प्रतिस्पर्धा मध्यमस्तरका बैंकसँग हुने देखिएको छ। एभरेष्ट बैंकले पनि फागुनसम्ममा २ अर्ब २९ करोड नाफा कमाएको छ। विदेशी लगानीको बैंक, स्ट्यान्डर्ड चार्टर्ड बैंकले पनि २ अर्ब ८ करोड नाफा कमाएको छ।

अर्को सरकारी बैंक कृषि विकास बैंकले १ अर्ब ९७ करोड नाफा कमाएको छ भने उसलाई पछ्याउँदै हिमालयन बैंकले १ अर्ब ९४ करोड, एनएमबि बैकले १ अर्ब ९२ करोड र लक्ष्मी बैंकले १ अर्ब ८२ करोड नाफा कमाएका छन्।

सिद्धार्थ बैंकले १ अर्ब ६९ करोड नाफा कमाउदा सानिमा बैंकले १ अर्ब ६६ करोड, प्रभु बैंकले १ अर्ब ५१ करोड र कुमारीले १ अर्ब ४२ करोड नाफा कमाएका छन्।

यता नेपाल बैंकले १ अर्ब २८ करोड नाफा कमाउदा सिटिजन्स बैंकले १ अर्ब २२ करोड नाफा कमाएको छ। माछापुच्छ्रे बैंकले १ अर्ब १६ करोड नाफा कमाउदा नेपाल एसविआई बैंक १ र्अब ८० लाख नाफा कमाएर सबैभन्दा अन्तिम स्थानमा छ।

केहि बैंकको नाफा बढी भएपनि पूँजी समेत बढी हुँदा उनीहरुको प्रतिशेयर आम्दानी भने कम छ। तर केहि बैंकले कम पूँजीबाटै बढी नाफा कमाउन सफल हुँदा उनीहरुको प्रतिशेयर आम्दानी धेरै छ भने शेयरधनीलाई समेत बढी प्रतिफल दिन सक्ने अवस्था छ।
