NEPSE SUMMARY SEP 30 2024

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index rebounded by 44.45 points (1.80%) to close at 2,508.86, recovering from a previous session’s loss of 22.36 points.

The index experienced fluctuations throughout the day, starting at 2,466.6, hitting an intraday low of 2,462.79, and peaking at 2,508.86 before settling at the final value.

Today’s trading session saw 319 scrips exchanged through 50,680 transactions, with a total volume of 9.71 million shares and a turnover of Rs. 3.71 Arba.

CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC) led the turnover, with shares worth Rs. 17.69 crore traded, closing at Rs. 1,727. CHDC also posted the day’s highest gain of 10%.

Conversely, Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) faced the largest decline, dropping 9.36%.

Sector-wise, the Mutual Fund Index was the only one to decline, falling by 0.60%, while the Finance Index showed the strongest growth, rising by 4.19%.
