Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited (HEI) has appointed Anju Shrestha as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With this appointment, she becomes the second woman to serve as a CEO in the history of Nepal’s general insurance companies. The company has announced that she will officially begin her role as CEO starting today.
29 Years of Experience in Insurance
The newly appointed CEO, Anju Shrestha, brings with her 29 years of experience in the insurance sector. Her journey in the insurance field began on Fagun 16, 2052, when she joined as an Assistant Officer. Over the years, her dedication, tireless efforts, and commitment to excellence led her to advance through various positions, ultimately reaching the CEO role. The company has stated that, as CEO, Shrestha will lead Himalayan Everest Insurance with her extensive experience and new strategic plans.

Upon her appointment, the newly appointed CEO, Shrestha, shared her thoughts, saying, “I feel deeply honored to have the opportunity to lead Himalayan Everest Insurance.
