The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index witnessed an incline of 49.18 points (1.99%), closing at 2,519.57, following the drop of 58.93 points in the previous session.

The index fluctuated throughout the day, starting at 2,473.06 points, reaching an intraday low of 2,443.28, and dipping to a low of 2,519.97 before settling.

In today’s session, a total of 327 scrips were traded through 69,418 transactions, resulting in a volume of 12,498,989 shares. This activity led to a turnover of Rs. 4.81 Arba. 

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) led the turnover chart, trading Rs. 15.64 crore worth of shares and closing at Rs. 437.70.

Five companies achieved the day’s highest gain of 10% each.

Meanwhile, Himalayan Hydropower Limited (HHL) marked the session’s biggest loss of 6.36%.

Sector-wise, the Mutual Fund Index led with a 0.01% decrease, while the Finance Index inclined by the highest 3.80%.
